July 2009 - Rotary Drilling Training for Nigerian Delegation

Equipe has delivered a Rotary Drilling Course to a Nigerian Delegation wishing to learn more about hard rock drilling and how they can improve efficiency, quality and production.

The delegation comprised Directors and Drillers from the Nigerian Geological Survey Agency and was delivered over the period of a week. The course was developed and delivered by the Equipe team from The Drilling Academy. The delegation were based in nearby Stratford Upon Avon which provided a superb relaxing environment after a hard days training. Some of the delegation spent evenings reciting Shakespeare.  

The course comprised technical presentations, practical experience and a site visit and was delivered by the Equipe team with special thanks to :

James Mansell - Managing Director, Clear Solutions who provided a short course on drilling additives and polymers.

Mick Elcock - Managing Director, Drillwell who provided a short course on drilling plant and equipment.

Quentin Dulake - Sales, Dando Drilling International who provided a short course of rotary drilling rigs.
